How we do it

Our Design Process

At GardenHelp, every project follows a structured design process that ensures your ideas are carefully developed into a practical, bespoke outdoor space. We work closely with you at every stage, refining the design until it reflects your vision before you decide whether to move forward with the construction phase.

1

Initial Consultation

The process begins with a free consultation by phone or video call. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your project, understand your goals, and answer any initial questions you may have.

2

Client Questionnaire

Following the consultation, we provide a detailed questionnaire to help us gain a better understanding of your lifestyle, preferences, budget, and how you want to use your outdoor space. This forms an important part of the design brief and is included as part of our free consultation process.

3

Ongoing Consultation

We believe great landscapes are created through collaboration. If you have additional questions or would like to discuss ideas further before moving ahead, we are happy to provide further consultations at no additional cost.

4

On-Site Consultation and Survey

Once the design brief has been established, our design team will visit your property to carry out a comprehensive site survey. During this visit, we assess the site, take measurements, evaluate existing features, and confirm your final requirements before design work begins.

5

nitial Concept Design

Using the information gathered, we prepare an initial concept design that allows you to visualise your new outdoor space. This stage may include:
• Concept sketches
• Landscape layouts
• Mood boards
• Basic 3D visualisations where appropriate
We then review the concept with you and make any refinements required.

6

Detailed Technical Design

Once the concept has been approved, we produce a comprehensive technical design package. This includes all of the information required to accurately construct your landscape, including:

  • Detailed layout plans
  • Planting plans
  • Paving specifications
  • Construction details
  • Material selections
  • Technical drawings
